Mahesh Babu now turns 'Businessman'

Mahesh Babu and Puri Jagannadh's new film is titled The Business Man. Producer R R Venkat today announced the title to the media. Mahesh Babu plays the role of a 'business man' but he's not the regular businessman that we seen in our life. The film has tagline of ' Guns Don't Need Agreements'.


Interestingly, same title and tag line was earlier announced with the combination of Ghajini Surya and director Puri Jagannadh and Ram Gopal Varma as producer.


Regular shoot commences from May.

Mahesh Babu and Genelia are the most desirable

Recently, times conducted a poll to know about the most desirable men and women in 2010. Obviously most of the Bollywood stars were chosen by the people as their desired man/woman. Interestingly, our own superstar Mahesh Babu bagged 12th place in this list.

Even though South stars like Vikram, Suriya and Siddarth too featured in this list they all have acted in straight Hindi films. But Mahesh Babu didn’t have a single Hindi film to his credit and still has beaten all of them and bagged 12th place.

Genelia, who has been making waves in Bollywood has bagged sixth place in the list. Asin, Shriya and Trisha are the other south Indian stars that were voted as the most desirable women.

Cast and Crew of Mahesh's '3 Rascals'

3 Rascals is the title chosen for the remake of 3 Idiots in Telugu. Director Shankar confirmed this to a newspaper in Chennai. Mahesh Babu will play the principle lead actor played by Aamir Khan in the original. In the Tamil version, Vijay will be doing it.


In both the Telugu and Tamil versions, the other two important roles will be played by Sriram (originally done by Sharman Joshi) and Tamil hero Jeeva (originally played by Madhavan). Ileana is the heroine for both the versions. Satya Raj is playing college professor.

Haaris Jayaraj is handling the music while Manoj Paramhamsa (of Ye Maaya Chesave fame) is the director of photography. Gemini Film Circuits is producing it. Regular shoot commences in Chennai from December 1st week.

Varudu to go Namibia, Rajasthan for shooting

Varudu is the latest flick of Prince Mahesh babu is on sets now. Now the shooting of Varudu had begun at Annapurna Studios on March 25. S Satyaram Murthy presents this film while Singanamala Ramesh produces it. Trivikram who directed Athadu with Mahesh is directing this movie again. Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh said he has been inspired by the subject and it is being made in high standards and will definitely meet the expectations of fans and movie goers. Anuskha expressed her happiness on working in this films and terms it her first film with Mahesh. A village set worth 2 crores is being built at Gandipet for Mahesh Babu’s latest film Varudu in the direction of Trivikram. Another Rajashtan temple set is going to be constructed with huge budget. Half of the talkie will be completed in Hyderabad from 25 March to June end. The unit will go to Namibia (South Africa) in July and will shoot in Rajastan in August month. The unit will visit Italy to shoot songs in September. The post-production work will take place in October and November. Producer Singanamala Ramesh is planning for December release. Anushka plays female lead.

Mahesh Babu’s ‘Varudu' "Vadhuvu Kavalenu"

As for filmanagr sources, Prince Mahesh Babu’s film with director Trivikram Sreenivas was launched formally on 30th April at Padmalaya Studios with formal Pooja.
As there are no auspicious days for another 40 days, many producers performed Pooja for their upcoming projects. The film has tentatively titled as ‘Varudu" with tagline "Vadhuvu Kavalenu".

Producer Singamala Ramesh is making a film Varudu with Trivikram Sreenivas .
As for filmnagar sources, Producer is paying Rs8 crores for Mahesh Babu for this film as remuneration.
Director Trivikram Sreenivas is taking Rs4.5crores as remuneration.
The total budget for making this film is estimated as Rs30 crores.
Also Trivikram Sreenivas has selected Parwathi Melton as one of the female lead in this film.
